I can tell the owner is disrespectful based on how he answered user question. Take a look โโEmpty court is not equal to free court. You paid for only 1 court for your group, you are not paying for any additional court. Why do you think it should be free for you if it is empty? Our staff is absolutely following the regulation. He asked your group if you would like to pay for additional space, you refused, so he was wrong to turn off the light and request your players to step off the un-paid court?โ I found the ownerโs response disrespectful because it comes across as sarcastic and dismissive rather than professional. Phrases such as โWhy do you think it should be free for you if it is empty?โ sound accusatory and imply that the customer is being unreasonable. Instead of simply explaining the facilityโs policy, the owner uses a confrontational tone that may make customers feel belittled. A respectful response would clarify the rules without questioning the customerโs judgment or intentions. I donโt need further explanation and can assume the owner is an uneducated adult and felt that user can only go to their badminton area rather than improving their customer service quality.

The reason Iโm giving them one star their customer service really bad and they donโt even know how to talk to a customer specially kids who are sending his kids to that place. Please be careful. Where are you? Sending your kids.

We had such an amazing time at Brooklyn Badminton Club! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was welcoming, energetic, and just all-around fun. The courts were clean and well-maintained, and the whole place had a great setup whether youโre a beginner or a more experienced player. We went in just looking to have a good time, and it turned into a full-on fun workout without even realizing it. Teenie bit of problem is the AC wasn't working.

We've played at almost all the locations, but this one was the worst. One of the courts was empty, and since we had a lot of people, we just wanted to use it for practice with our team. Suddenly, the staff member turned off the lights out of nowhere and told us we couldn't use the court. He was extremely rude -honestly, the worst guy l've ever met. Donโt recommend anyone to come here. Respond to the owner: Nowhere in my review did I claim the court should be โfree.โ The issue was how your staff handled the situation, not the policy itself. Turning off the lights without warning and speaking rudely to paying customers is unprofessional and unnecessary. A simple, polite explanation would have avoided the entire issue. Instead of acknowledging the behavior, your response shifts blame and defends discourtesy. That says a lot about your customer service standards. Rules can be enforced without disrespect โ your staff chose not to. Learn some manners before taking stand with wrong attitudes!

The pure greed of the owners disgust me. - No water fountain followed by upcharging all the drinks. - poor temperature management in the summer/winter (Either ac is too low or heater is too low.) to save on measly electricity. - Strong chemical smell of the whole facility. - Expensive training fees $100-170 per hour for private training. - Not enough proper space for people to walk to their own courts without being in the way of the rally. - Broken gym benches are used instead of proper stable seating. - Courts are not properly cleaned, so when diving theres higher chance of infection if you scrape. How is it possible to go so wrong with a badminton facility? It feels like I'm living in a third world country with this kind of court.
